As a Front Office Intern, you will be the face of the hotel and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of Front Office operations while developing your professional and hospitality skills in a dynamic international environment.

The internship starts in September 2026 for a period of 5 or 6 months

Responsibilities

* Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery

* Support the guest journey, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests across phone, written, and face-to-face communication

* Assist with reservations, payments, and Front Office administrative tasks

* Deliver excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest enquiries

* Maintain a professional and welcoming Front Office environment in line with brand standards

* Collaborate with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations

* Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards, and systems to support operational excellence

Essential Requirements

* Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related study program

* Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

* Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop

* Guest-focused mindset with a positive and professional approach

* Enjoys working in a team and adapting to a fast-paced environment

* Available for an internship of at least 5-6 months

* Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage

* Interest in Front Office and guest relations

* Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) is a plus

* Dutch or any additional language skills are an advantage

* Eagerness to develop operational knowledge within a hotel environment

The internship allowance is €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines.
